Hell, he won 5 championships in a row. He dominated seasons. The critics say that Schumacher had a huge advantage over the rest of the field. Ferrari was just so far ahead of the other manu's at the time that anyone could have driven those cars to a win.And let's not forget team orders. I remember several races where Barrichello was in a position to win but the team would force him to slow and let Schumacher go by. What you can't question is Schumacher's skills in the wet. If I turned on the race on a Sunday morning and it was raining, man, I just had to sit and watch.
awful knawful
Schumacher was the best driver in the best car. Remember what happened when he came out of retirement to drive for Mercedes? Same happened to Alonso....
ckf
Schumacher ran well in those Benetton Renault's before he switched to Ferrari.
Carlos Danger
I think the current version of F1 is the worst version. Drivers have been reduced to programmable parts of the car. 3

I wish I remember who it was, but after Sr. was killed, one of the drivers offered to buy everyone a HANS device. Not to the same extent, but at the time it was a big step forward. Not a clue. I wish more tracks and sanctions would put safety as their priority over the newest wiz-bang go-fast part rule. I've put forth my opinion several times that the first section in a rule book should be safety instead of somewhere in the middle or at the end. 2 minutes ago, ckf said: Jeff Burton was big in to advancing saftey back then??? Could be.
