An NA vs turbo motor at elevation.... sounds like a fair test. Bring that eco down to sea level and see what happens

TFL does that to make the ford win. Short distances. Brake boost the ford so it gets out front then quit before it gets freight trained

one time the only way they could get the ford to win was to do 100’ drags so that’s what they did

Bullshit it does. The 6.2 runs it down even if the eco gets a jump at the line. That’s been proven, but let’s talk more about 1/8 mile tests.....

Yeah. In my experience it takes a tuned EB 3.5 to run with a 6.2

That is a low output ecoboost.  Not even the high output ecoboost.  6.2 gm is a 2.7 ecoboost class engine.  Good to know gm engineering failed to make an engine that functions well in all enviroments

Per motortrend:

6.2 - 0-60 in 5.5 1/4 mile in 14.1-14.2

eco 3.5 - 0-60 in 6.1 and 14.7 quarter.

How about you compare the current eco.... not the old one

yah, Ford is the the pinnacle of make engines with power, it’s why the mustang guys swap LS motors in, huh. Never hear a GM guy ever considering a ford engine

The L86 NA 6.2 has been out since 14 unchanged, and Ford has to reinvent the wheel with updating the eco because even with twin turbos it’s still slower after multiple revisions. Junk

Cool story.
