I looked at them and researched heavily. If you want to build one from a numbered receiver, you still have to do all the NICS stuff to get it. Once you have a receiver, you can buy as much as you can afford all over the internet. The lower receiver is the part that is considered the firearm. I purchased mine as a "pistol" so I could build it into a pistol length gun if I chose. No...it has what Nikon is calling X-MOA It seems like a fairly simple reticle with enough hash marks to make decent calculations. But it's a sfp scope so the reticle doesnt adjust with the zoom.
