The north and south are meeting and talking and there is more progress towards peace in 2 weeks than in the last 60 years. Then the US and SK decide to conduct war games on the NK borders and blow the whole fucking ball of diplomacy to shit. From what I've read...the US has already conceded to SK's request to halt or curtail many of the exersizes. I believe most of the exersizes will be with Japan outside of SK airspace. Not really keeping up with too much of it though. Why? I think this is all bullshit. I don't think NK has any real intention of doing anything that is necessary to help the situation. Nothing. I think it's all a political show that Kimmy is going to try and blame America when it goes to shit to try and get international pity. He has no intention whatsoever of helping his people out. None. His family has stayed in power through the "mushroom and cull" strategy. I don't see him or what will be his successor changing that. I hope i'm wrong though. China is interested in peace, but they’re not interested in seeing a cozy relationship form between NK and the US. All Xi needs to do is feed Kim a little intel and his paranoia will go off the graph. Actually all Kim needs to do is listen to Bolton and reality sets in.
