I don't want to say that I told you so....but goddammit I told you so :pan:

Since when are you against government spending?

FYI I am against all of it and have been saying this since Bush doubled our Debt. Bush was just as bad as Obama and Trump is doing nothing so far to stop the spending.

hey .7paytoplay...

did the dems hand tons of cash to the wealthy and already profitable corporations, while increasing military and other spending bigly? then expect entitlements to be cut to help close the gap on that revenue loss?

How much you want to bet that the bill that cuts SS and medicare (to pay for the tax cuts)wont be debated and we will get wind on it on the hind side after its too late?

Obama operated on continuing resolutions from the Bush budgets. Obama never got a budget passed his first term. The stimulus and cars for cash were corporate bail outs that were already under construction before Obama took office. Republicans are the big spenders in govt, dont be fooled. And look who gets the money when they do.

Oh im sure. Theyll cut all services to americans and keep increasing military spending and more tax cuts. Pretty soon our entire budget will be military spending and congress salaries.

Maybe if the republicans spent an EXTRA trillion we would see faster results?

The stupid is incredible among the brain dead, cut taxes, increase spending (and we haven't seen infrastructure yet) tariffs, trade deals where supply gets cut back, borrowing, and the simple minded can't see where it's all inflationary and that there savings are shrinking......the market opens in minutes let's hope it's not another drop today.

The Dow opened 44 points up!

Exactly.  So why is that always talked about instead of stopping welfare programs first?

The military is getting that money because they are gearing up for another war.

The democrats dont claim to be fiscal conservatives. The whole time Obama was president the republicans stomped their feet and shut down the govt over "out of control spending" They only did that because they knew the economy would come roaring back with that spending and they didnt want Obama to get credit for that.

Now that they are in they want a roaring economy so they are going to spend like drunken sailors. Then when they lose the next presidential election it will be back to the fake conservative theme.

No....but Wince claims to be a fiscal conservative and he didnt have a fucking thing to say during the Obama years.......

Why the spending then? If the country didnt need it when it was bleeding 800,000 jobs a month, why does it need it now when we are in the beginning of an economic whirlwind of success and winning?

I'm not defending any spending......I'm defending the trade deals , tariffs and the economy growing at 250% of Obamas best year despite Obama enjoying 0% interest rates and trillions in funny money being printed

Well that is debatable.   Some get a much better rate of return than others.   Those who spend a lifetime contributing the max get absolutely fucked.  Same could be said with Medicare.

STOP. They are all big spenders. The idea that Obama is free of blame is laughable. Bush double the debt from 5 trillion to just under 10 and Obama doubled it again spending double of every other president combined.

Your post is exactly whats wrong with Partisan politics.

Valid points, the working person really does get fucked by SS over their working life, what really should happen is the working person should be forced by govt. to take what would be SS contributions and invest them in their own account..........in 30 - 40 years the worker would have way more money than they ever would get from SS. The disability side of SS has also been a massive scam also.
