You have to sign an affidavit stating who you are and where you live. Then you vote , get in your car and drive back home to Massachusetts. They then send a postcard to your buddy who's address you used . He mails it to you. You fill it out and mail it back. As easy as it is to do that , thousands still never get mailed back.

like I thought a big no. just like here in MN you need some one to vouch for you . you nor them need ID to vouch for 1 another . or you can bring in a utility bill from the past yr good to go . fucking joke

The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office in conjunction with the Secretary of State's Office is investigating thousands of voter affidavit mailers sent to voters that did not offer proper identification while voting or registering to vote during the 2012 election cycle that were postmarked as returned as undeliverable or unanswered by the recipients.

Both Stephen LaBonte, the new elections investigator with the NH AG, and Deputy Secretary of State David Scanlan, confirmed that their offices were involved in the massive undertaking of checking more than 20,000 voters who were allowed to register to vote and cast ballots last year while not being able to prove where they lived or who they are, as part of the state's new voter ID law.

The mailers were sent out on schedule, 60 days after the September and November 2012 elections, and now officials are wading through most of the rejects and returns to find any vote fraud.

Updated.

Fake news.

Catherine Milhoan, a spokeswoman for the Secret Service, said Saturday that her agency is seeking “clarifying language” to ensure agents can access polling places while protecting candidates.

The request, she said, was in response to an incident during the 2016 election when officers encountered “some reluctance” from staff at a polling location. The poll workers worried that letting in armed agents would violate a federal law barring troops from polling places, she said. She didn’t have details on which candidate or which state the incident occured.

“The only time armed Secret Service personnel would be at a polling place would be to facilitate the visiting of one of our protectees while they voted,” Milhoan said.

This story was updated to reflect a comment Saturday afternoon from the Secret Service.

Allowing SS to protect a protectee inside a polling place?

If somebody needs “protecting” call local law enforcement. What do they need protecting from again?

Possibly armed citizens as some want to put a stop to that in NH too. Same ones who want to ban guns from the statehouse.

Don't try to look foolish here, you already did that.

You want to show up in Broward County and rely on them to protect you? :lmao:

You're gonna say the Boston Globe did NOT write this story as if Trump can deploy SS agents across the country to 'monitor' voting?

He did NOT make it a nefarious piece, throwing in "3rd world countries" and the like?

You were suckered by the fake news media, and want to put the blame on me.

Had you just read the piece at the link when it was posted, you would have known. But you didn't and got reeled in, slapped against a rock, and put in the creel to be cleaned later.
