Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted January 11, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 11, 2018 Time to bring back vote trading huh? Great , now a $5 million bill turns into $60 million and the original bill never gets done.

The only thing about earmarks that is any good is that its easily recognizable who is getting what instead of hiding it in a bill. See shithead you don't have to support EVERYTHING someone you voted for does. Edited January 11, 2018 by Highmark

When Republicans retook control of the House in 2011, one of then-House Speaker John Boehner's first actions was to ban earmarks. Platinum Contributing Member steve from amherst Posted January 11, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 11, 2018 Yes you can count on my vote for your bill. As long as you add in $ 5 million for a new ballfield in my district.
