Platinum Contributing Member Jimmy Snacks Posted December 4, 2017 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted December 4, 2017 Came across this article and thought I would share...Moto has mentioned the 6.5 Creedmoor and it was the first time I had heard of it and this gives a good comparison of the 3 calibers. https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/cartridge-showdown-30-06-awesome-awful/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=20171204_BlogDigest_254&utm_campaign=/blog/cartridge-showdown-30-06-awesome-awful/
NaturallyAspirated
I would like to do a SBR/pistol in silenced 300 blackout for a build. I like my .308 but it's massive and loud. Ain't taking away my guns, no matter the caliber! Neal
Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted December 4, 2017 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted December 4, 2017 (edited) I'm considering a 6.5 Creed and have done a ton of research on it. It has its limits in taking larger game at distance. Edited December 4, 2017 by Highmark
Gold Member BOHICA Posted December 4, 2017 Gold Member Share Posted December 4, 2017 Reminds me... I need to give my 6.5 some optics and some time.

Yep. I'm still leaning that way as the first hunting I want to do out west is Antelope and Muley. Plenty of power for either of those at distance. Still giving the .300 WSM, .300 win mag, and 7mm Rem Mag some thought though.
