Alot of rural older places here heat with oil or switched to propane. We have infloor heated with a boiler/propane.

We lock in our price for propane in the fall and although it's up every year we don't have to worry about the BS fluctuation when they say the severe cold has caused a shortage and the price goes up.

I read basically the same article saying building has slowed and the mills are overstocked and there should be a price reduction. A 2x4x8 is $6.98 Cdn here and it has gone down about $1.50 sofar. A far cry from where it should be and the house we want to build is still $130K up from a year ago.

I'm too lazy to make it from scratch. I buy it fresh or frozen at the grocery store for $2.49 CDN ,$1.99 for a bottle of Primo pizza sauce and a big slab of quality cheese. We had a pizza party one afternoon and I whipped up 10 pizzas.

I hooked up the sxs trailer and the bed of the truck is loaded. All that's left to load are the clothes and a big cooler and leaving at 2am Monday and heading to Nova Scotia for the summer.
