Hobart is geared more towards the DIY and is a middle of the road welder that, i believe is manufactured by Miller. I know Harbor Freight has been mentioned. I've used one and while it will stick 2 pcs of metal together, i would worry about longevity. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for.

What he said ^^^^^^. Just make sure you point the Y in the direction of the out going flow.

Basically a 90 degree Y that allows you to run a snake through your pipe from the surface. Install it inline with your pipe, then run pipe to the surface ending with a threaded fitting that a cap screws into. If you have any issues, take the cap off, run the snake down the pipe and clear any debris that might be the source of the blockage. Its pretty common to find them on sewer lines.

Is it possible to put a cleanout inline some where? Might save you the aggravation of digging it up next time.
