  1. I believe that is called a sea trial ? LOL
  2. Great looking boat. Hope you,re only going to run that on very calm water. How long is it ? Can you please post some pics of the inside and the dash ? What kind of speed is it set up to run ? Looks like you forgot to post the picture of your lady friend in the matching bikini. I thought you said he was an honest seller ? Did you let him know the motor was a POS ?
  3. Does anyone know which clubs and how many clubs are getting new groomers and drags this year ? .
  4. Interesting. I,ve seen them set up on an eastbound curve many, many times on the 401 around the Merwin Lane overpass in the Prescott area. It,s a perfect spot for them to hide. LOL
  5. Since those weather people cann,t even predict yesterdays weather correctly, I wouldn,t put any faith in next winters predictions. I,ve never seen any other job were people can be so continuously wrong, and still keep a job that is so highly paid. I seem to be able to predict the daily weather by looking out the window, each morning. Keep the faith, this winter will be a good one for all us snowmobilers.
  6. What can a coach do during the game, to get the guys to play better ???????????????
  7. Thanks for the info. Interesting, why wouldn,t they have to adhere to a decibel level ? That would make it real easy to check. Is there no rule that says you cannot alter a stock exhaust, like they have for sleds ?
  8. Sean, I,m sure this topic is going to open up a can of worms here, but the other day I was on a sidewalk on main street of our small town, and a group of bikers came rolling thru, with painfully LOUD pipes, which rattled the storefront windows. My ears were ringing for 15 minutes after they had all passed thru. Why are these guys allowed to run these loud strait pipes, without being fined and forced to re-instal the stock mufflers ? Why does it seem that only the sleds with cans get hassled, and not these guys ?
  9. Hopefully he hasn,t cancelled the insurance on all those awesome cars, once he got the slips in his hands. LOL
  10. I just gave my turbo sled battery a top up charge, and polished my clutches, that were off of the sled and apart, as they were just balanced by Garlands. I also polished the tunnel and running boards, so it looks better than new. Sure wish we could make our sleds street legal. They would be a riot.
  11. If it wasn,t raining to-day, I was tempted to go to Kingston and see if I could have gotten a ride on My Way, for a charity donation. Hopefully, next year.
  12. How did you get such a great job ? LOL Surprised to see you guys go up that way. My buddy had just bought a new Polaris General, so we took it on its maiden voyage. It,s got the roll cage and roof as well, which was nice for keeping the sun off. Cheers
  13. Hi Sean, Do you still need to wear an approved helmet, if your strapped into a sidexside, with an approved roll bar , while riding on logging roads up around Calabogie ? We were up that way a couple of weeks ago, and most of those trails are rough as hell, like travelling dried up creek beds. LOL We were travelling 15-20 kms per hour, and it was very hot wearing a helmet. I,m not sure who owns the land the trails were on, we only saw about a half dozen other vehicles all day. I cann,t imagine you guys would waste resources running those dusty old trails up that way, but are helmets law even on trails like that ?
  14. Had a great day out on the St. Lawrence River in Brockville, Ontario, watching the 1000 Islands Poker run. Watching MY Way is the highlight of the summer while on the river. Lots of other beautiful boats as well, but that one is absolutely gorgeous.
  15. Yup, and a snowmobile, preferably an Arctic Cat turbo.
  16. Thanks for the daily laugh. I look forward to reading your jokes.
  17. Hi Karen, that is a beautiful area to snowmobile in. Hope they get some more volunteers to keep it going. Looking forward to your update.
  18. It worked for China. Still no Mexicans there.
  19. Yup. It goes on and on and on and on way too looooooooong.
  20. I haven,t heard or seen anything about that.. I,m way down near Prescott, and am part of the Grenville club. Hopefully someone from that club will chime in, with some good news. My gut feeling is our local club, as well as many others that haven,t been able to entice new younger sledders to help out, are going to disappear as well, as the older guys decide that they just cann,t carry on any longer. This latest gov,t legislation seems to have been the last straw for some volunteers, who are having a hard time convincing the land owners that they aren,t going to loose their land, or take any more risk.
  21. I,ve seen way to many people run out of gas in a boat. My rule is anytime it is below 1/2 tank, it gets filled. Luckily I trailer mine, so it,s just an easy quik stop at the local pump.
  22. Very well said, Soupkid. Some countries are actually starting to send them back. Hopefully more will jump on the wagon. When Trump becomes president, I,m sure he,ll do a lot of house cleaning as well. LOL
