Atv ride!
Thursday and Friday were fine but Saturday was a steamer. We were on the trail by 7:30 on Saturday morning to get ahead of the heat. By the time we got to Trego I was about done for the weekend. Time to get the jet skis out now!

no one talking about gm 6.2 recall?
Hear ya. My 2012 F150 I think I paid $12K for. I don't tow much but it pretty much gets used as a dump truck. Rust will kill it eventually. With the price of the new stuff and all the issues every manufacturer is having, I just don't see a reason to buy something newer.

no one talking about gm 6.2 recall?
Just put $3K+ plus into our Explorer with gen 1 3.5L Ecoboost. Water pump, cam phasers, timing chain, tensioners, guides, etc. 12+ hour job, for a $100 water pump. Seriously? I think my Sea Doo even has forged connecting rods. 22+ F150s have aluminum bodies and the fixed 10 speed transmission. The 2nd gen 3.5L ecoboost is garbage. 5.0 seems ok if it doesn't burn or leak oil. The 2.7L Ecoboost would be ok too if you don't tow a lot. Many reports of those 2.7s going over 200k miles. Do like @X2700 and haul a 20 year old truck up from Arizona that still has a black frame and not a spec of rust.

Remove social media from your phones or computers if you come to Canada
I've been to quite a few countries. The only one that has ever given me any hassle is Canada.

any boating loopers here ?
I watched a guy on YouTube that did that on a jet ski. Left from around Connecticut and went all the way to Miami.

If the arbitrage on a snowmobile purchase is important to you, the depreciation is going to be catastrophic.

F1 2025
I didn't even try to stay up. Recorded it and watched it first thing in the morning. Tough conditions for the rookies. Even caught out some veterans like Sainz.

TDS level 12 has finally been reached! And here I thought the whole time it maxed out at 11.

Trump says he’ll buy a Tesla to support Elon Musk, whose companies are struggling
Normally I don't play individual stocks but if it hits $200 per share I'll probably jump in.

Calls to pardon Derek Chauvin ... seriously WTF?
The President can't pardon a state crime. He can however throw out the federal convictions for violating George Floyd's civil rights, which he should.

DOW 45000
Only briefly. I'll wait until it hits 45,000 again and then update to 50,000!

Just got back from Costco. Around $6.50 for 18 eggs, felt like I hit the lottery. $2.73 per gallon for gas. Still $1.50 for a hot dog and pop.

how much extra has inflation cost in taxes?
Employee salaries and benefits, energy, real estate, equipment, etc. has gone up for governments too. Our property taxes haven't gone up as fast recently due to an expanded tax base with new construction and more people.

If there is any doubt, the answer is no. First time around, it took me 3 hours to change spark plugs.
