Hold up now. Anyone in jail for pot alone is there because they got caught with amount that would be for resale not some kid who got caught with a joint in the ashtray of his car. And people who have large amounts of pot with the intention of selling it could still get arrested in states that have legalized pot already. Again you are mixing up the legal realities Louis learner was required as part of her job to testify to congress. I would add that if memory serves me the government was sued and lost over some of the individual cases in question to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

I think many are still under the illusion that there was a case against Trump in the first place. Mueller knew for sure he had no case after the written questions were submitted and that was more than a year before the report came out. And to be fair Mueller might have known from the beginning that it was all crap.

They gave everyone immunity and they all still showed up with a dozen Lawyers who they concerned with on every question. Compare that to what they did the Mike Flynn.

Again Trump did answer their questions which is more than I can say for Clinton's in general. Can you imagine Rudy guliani or some other known Trump campaign lawyer being assigned to a special prosecutor in a case against Hillary Clinton? Do you think the Democrats would stand for that?

With the treatment of just Carter Page you would be a fool to sit down with Mueller's team and be questioned by Clinton operatives. Any WH council worth a Nicole would talk you out of that.

You are blurring the legal lines here. Pleading the 5th means if you answer a question under oath you will incriminate yourself of a crime and the does not make you be a lead witness in your prosecution. Trump just used the rules put in place by Democrats to protect Bill Clinton to tell the to go pound sand. All of Trump's people testified under oath and none of them pled the 5th.

Yes but Louis learner ended up pleading the 5th and left her position at the IRS so yea the Obama administration did use the IRS as a political weapon.

Home to world's largest nuclear power plant. Texans are very sensible about regulations and just using plain logically arrived at use of energy. Most of the big generation companies are either head quartered or have a significant presence in the state. California would be well served to send the Sierra club a package bomb and then let Texas run all of their energy concerns as they obviously are to emotional to run it themselves.

You would think that a Zero Emission Gas plant prototype would be something California would be all over but No this whole project happened in Texas. It would have taken ten more years to get this project off the ground due to state regulations. It is why California has an energy problem and Texas has it's own energy policy and even runs its own electrical grid that is a world standard.

Just so we are clear Net power generated by coal is not going down in fact it is skyrocketing. But at least you felt better when Obama and Hillary made you feel morally superior about putting a few miners out of a job.
