the problem is, none of these countries give a flying fuck who or what religious group is in power. as long as that person or group is supportive of the correct energy alliance. historically russia and iran are allies in this sector. syria has naval bases for iran and russia in the mediteranian. the only one for each. Russia's main export is natural gas. Iran and the saudis sit on the worlds largest supply of it. Putin being a major player in the Russian natural gas market holds great interest in what is done with that gas. Assad will play with the russians to build a pipeline to europe from their allies in Iran. the saudis want Russia's influence out of syria so they can get the quatar/saudi pipeline running through syria. guess who's pulling all the strings here for our military?? if we get out, the saudis arent happy with us. right now cheap oil is to put pressure on russia. it keeps all energy prices lower.

that's not how I read it. my take is they crossed the line, the deconfliction line was called and they denied russian soldiers were there, then they were told they better keep planes on the ground or anything flying would be a target. obviously, there were "russians" there. how do we get 100 +7 people in one account and hundreds dead in another?? what's the total tally here??

I am intimately familiar. it was my wife's father. so, you mow down the fence that's keeping the people in. you get 25 people and everyone runs out the hole you made. My cousin said the way things went down no one knew where the shooter was, in fact they were pretty sure there were 3 at the time in different buildings. they did have a group of guys that took down a portion of the fence near the stage area somewhere I guess... they didn't know if they were going from the frying pan to the fire though.

IMO this is a case of harm to others. you go after the low hanging fruit there. in the particular case of the officer with a restraining order I mentioned, his service revolver was used on christmas eve to kill his 5 year old son, shoot his three year old daughter in the stomach and then shoot himself with a glancing shot to the side and claim the mother did it. I think he did more damage than he could have with a truck. my cousin said that place was pretty will fenced in. pretty sickening. She's gotten PTSD from it. given that she works events like that in big crowds for a living its becoming more and more of a burden. she had a breakdown in NYC fairly recently. had flashbacks and panicked, took off running.

as it should be IMO. how many times do you hear about people with mental health issues that stop taking meds because they "feel better" Well no shit asshole, thats what the meds are for! what do you do for certain cases though. lets say if you have a restraining order against you, you have to turn your gun in until it is resolved. you happen to be in law enforcement where you are required to carry. This is not a made up scenario.

hey I had my ability to drive taken away for almost a year due to medical issues in my 20's. If they can do that to me for the safety of myself and others than they better do the same for guns IMO. that's for people with better access to the statistical probabilities than we have. really?? what mental illnesses are ever really cured?? yet we can also get a judge or doctor to have you committed against your will....

we spend more than that a year on caring for illegals anyway. sign them up to get legal or send them on their way. create a positive cash flow from them. once you do that you work on stopping people from coming in. you are never going to get 100% but you have to keep working at it. you also need to start actually charging big fines to the people employing illegal workers..
