Every time I see this outage mentioned I think about all the people pulling their hair out cause their phone didn't work.

Was working in northern maine this morning and working now after sledding all day. If it went out between 7 and 4 I wouldn't have noticed.

I live near a C5 base that used to be a SAC base. B52s used to fly out of there when I was a kid and those screaming engines were unique. The C5s went thru an engine upgrade not long ago and the distinct sound those made was gone after that, bet the B52s are way quieter after the upgrade.
