  3. I remember that flood all too well. Crazy how fast and how bad it was! I remember my commute home that day, and the line of northbound traffic trying to get through ZF. I ended up driving down the southbound lane about a 1/2 mile so I could catch the gravel road (snowmobile trail route) to come into ZF over the old bridge & back onto 63. It couldn't have been much longer and they closed it altogether. And that flood is like a blip on the map compared to what this one was in Texas. Scary thought.
  4. Barb is on her drunken TDS binge rant ... here today, gone tomorrow. And will be back again in a few weeks to play Groundhog Day. What an asset to the site Oh wait, I added two extra letters there.
  5. LOL ... I'd like you to show us how many Biden threads there were vs. Trump threads during that time. I bet it was still over 10:1 TDS vs. BDS
  6. Seems to me we survived Trump 1.0, and even more surprisingly we survived Biden 0.1. We're gonna be just fine, like we always are. You? Nobody really gives a fuck about you or your country so ... meh, whatever
  7. Damn right I did. Only an idiot would have cast a vote for they cackling hyena. Too bad you're not able to vote ... then again, nobody gives a shit what you have to say about the US. We'll just continue to laugh at you.
  8. Tell us all you're an idiot without saying you're an idiot ... thank you for your attention to this matter!
  9. Well, he owns you and causes you meltdowns every day. So for that alone, it's not hard to support him.
  10. OP is about a SCOTUS justice who's being criticized for not understanding what's in front of her, and Karen immediately chimes in with his usual TDS rants ... followed by his TDS buddies. Welcome to another day of FSCE
  11. Nice gig! And if you're local enough, it definitely makes it worthwhile. One thing I'll give the Sno Barons full credit for, is their charity. They do a great job of sharing money from Hay Days, and providing various levels of grants to other clubs. They provided us with a nice donation for a bridge project a few years ago.
  12. I haven't been up there in probably 4 or 5 years, I bet. It's been a while and the last time we were there it was pretty underwhelming as far as deals to be found. Between admission and parking, which I think was $30 to get in and $20 to park, and the gas to get up there and back ... the deals weren't worth the time. Granted, there was some nice scenery, but just not the excitement like it used to be.
  13. He's waiting to find that answer from DumbassUnderground so he can copy/paste it, like he does with most everything else.
  14. Nobody is interested in seeing the back & forth between you and anyone else, so I'm doing the forum a favor. You'll have to find someone else to scratch your pathetic attention whoring itch, and "fight" with you, Karen McGregor Besides, Krom just summed it up ... even though you already knew that.
  15. The tears are flowing in central Wisconsin .... Karen better go belly up with his like-minded buddy at Minocqua Brewing
  16. Don't steal one of Karen't primary bitching points. He loves to get on his soapbox and preach about debt and how everyone is incapable of managing their credit cards ... even though nobody listens, or cares. But, you're right ... we're long past the point of no return. The best a person can do is teach their kids how to not jeopardize themselves with insane amounts of debt.
  17. Gee, a family taking a vacation over the 4th of July ... which happens to be in Greece. The audacity!! Would his presence have had any more impact than what he was doing via conference calls to Abbot, Trump and other officials? Meanwhile, there's this article .... yeah, even CNN can give details of what he DID while he was supposed to be enjoying vacation with his family. CNN — GOP Sen. Ted Cruz was on a pre-planned vacation in Greece with his family when devastating floods hit central Texas, and he sought to travel back “as fast as humanly possible,” his office said in a statement. “The Senator was already in the middle of preplanned family vacation travel overseas when the flooding occurred on July 4. Within hours, he spoke by phone with Governor (Greg) Abbott, Lt. Governor (Dan) Patrick, Texas Emergency Management Director Nim Kidd, and President (Donald) Trump, working to ensure that the maximum federal assets were available for search and rescue,” Cruz’s office said in a statement to CNN. “He and his team worked closely with local officials and with families of missing girls throughout that time. He promptly booked a flight back home. Given the time difference, he left Athens on Sunday morning and was back in Texas that night. And he was in Kerrville on the ground early Monday morning,” the statement continued. A tourist in Athens told the Houston Chronicle he spotted Cruz at about 6 p.m. in Athens, Greece – or about 11 a.m. ET and 10 a.m. in Kerrville – and snapped a photo, which was posted to social media. That was after Abbott issued a disaster declaration due to severe flooding that was believed to have left at least 24 dead and many more missing. The death toll has since risen to more than 100 people. “I get it, he’s on vacation,” said the tourist, Michael Rocchio, who the Chronicle reported is not a Texan and is openly critical of Cruz’s political beliefs. “But after what happened, vacation or not, you should have been back on a plane on his way back to Texas to deal with everything that was going on with those poor kids in the floodplain.” Cruz has faced criticism previously for a vacation that came amid a natural disaster. In 2021, the Texas Republican said it was “obviously a mistake” to fly to Cancun, Mexico, as a winter disaster in his home state left millions without power or water. The Greece trip was first reported by The Daily Beast.
  18. Well, given your track record with your prognostications, it's safe to say Elon will be around for many years to come.
  19. I find it a bit ironic, the title of this thread ... and the bullshit they just fed us with the Epstein story.
  20. Andy's a class act ... money well spent going through Wenzlaff
  21. Exactly ... too many politicians, too many Hollywood douches, and other "elites" around the world.
  22. Anyone really surprised by this? You shouldn't be.
  23. Never let a good tragedy go untouched from the political hacks in the MSM ... typical bullshit. I did come across this, which is surprising it's from a NBC article: Independent meteorologists and a former NWS official said warnings issued in the run-up to the flooding were about as timely and accurate as could be expected with the weather data available in real time. Predicting extreme rain and flash flooding beyond several hours is challenging, they said, and it is also not easy to ensure urgent warnings reach those most at risk. “The forecasting was good. The warnings were good. It’s always about getting people to receive the message,” said Chris Vagasky, a meteorologist based in Wisconsin. “It appears that is one of the biggest contributors — that last mile.” The meteorologists said they did not think understaffed offices were a primary factor in the tragic outcome, even though the NWS has leadership gaps after a rash of staffing cuts.

Hated my Altitude helmet, but I did like the Kinpin goggles that went with it. Glad I ditched it for the Titan.
  25. Polls are getting to the point of being about as reliable as MC is viewed as being smart.
