My son is getting ahead quick because he is working his ass off and because of it leap frogging lifer's that have been rotting behind their desks for 20 or 30 years just waiting for the gold watch to arrive. Because both my wife and I spent our entire careers in that environment we have given him all the ammo he needs to by-pass the old guard that thinks you need 20 years to somehow get smart or get things done. Was in his job for a year and wrote some code that allowed the company to avoid signing a $2M commercial software contract. They promoted him immediately and has been managing a group of developers that just keeps getting larger every quarter - it's now up to 45. This code has saved the company over $50M in Amazon Cloud Services fees over the past two years. The value of hard work is still valuable you just have to be smart enough to take advantage of that.

Pretty sure the entire goal for the remaining episodes of this show is to get subscribers for the streaming only shit. Agree, I am not paying yet another fucking streaming only channel. Pretty soon $200 monthly cable bills that people bitched about for ages will look cheap compared to subscribing to a shitload of individual streaming platforms and the writing is on the wall. I have YT TV and Google has already had to remove all of the channels Disney owns temporarily over contract disputes. Same shit as cable and sat have battled for decades.

Congrats on retirement. Some don't like painting an entire generation with the same brush but I can tell you the majority have no clue and that's on their parents. Wife and I raised ours to understand the value of working and the money that comes from that hard work. The absolute best part of today's work environment is the bar is so low that if you have ambition and a brain you can easily get ahead far faster than when my wife and I started out. My son for example is 25 and has been in his profession for only 4 years. He has had 3 promotions already and working on a 4th at a Fortune 100 that would previously take 10-15 years to achieve.

Yeah, my 82 year old dad was thinking about doing some part time work because the money is so good right now and because he knows what doing hard work your entire life is all about.

Just sent in my survey to BRP and let them know I would like an app that will allow me to post all my epic rides complete with photo's showing off my mad riding skilz on the facechat, instybook and snappygram. 600's two smokers have always been the wise choice for trails around here and why I have ridden them since the 90's both Cat and Doo. Dead reliable and when I started fueling multiple sleds economical at the pump. 800 and now 850 twins have been a problem of some sort or another whether it's reliability, fuel consumption or parts somewhere near the engine (this means you poo drive train bearings) does not matter what manufacturer it is. For me 4 stroke's over the last 5-7 years has meant 800 and 850 class performance with reliability and fuel economy added in.

Exactly as I stated. There is zero need to vax every fucking living person on the planet with an experimental unproven drug when you have an experimental drug that will only have to be administered to those that absolutely need it and it actually works. The data around the vax is unreliable and incomplete at best and enough dangerous short term side effects in my family alone for me to have zero trust in what it may also be doing to people long term. At this point all of this mandatory vax push is complete and utter nonsense. As in my Uncle's case he was scared shitless about contracting covid, was triple vaxxed, wore his masks anytime he went out of the house, avoided public and family gatherings and STILL got the chinese flu. Those saying these measures will keep you safe are full of shit.

Also ignoring the fact there are viable treatments for those that need them. I have a 78 y/o completely vaxxed and boosted uncle that came down with covid last weekend. Went in on Monday and his doc gave him a dose of monoclonal antibodies. His symptoms went away in a couple of days.

My BIL is VP of sales for a custom parts company in Milwaukee. Their normal turn around is 3 months for custom projects, they are now at 1 year and he says all of their competitors are in the same situation. It seems to be every industry these days.

If I was without a sled at all I would just take delivery whenever that may be and ride out whatever season is left. Then I would order another one in the spring and flip the slightly used sled next fall/winter after the new one comes in. It's quite possible it would cost nearly nothing to ride that new sled even if the season is short. Do this until the powersports market changes.

This is really the only race that has not happened yet and could at least be somewhat interesting. The eight fiddie's have already been there done that, the poo six fiddy beats the six hundo's and cat will come in last in both six and eight two smokers.

Swamps are soft and ice is still pretty thin on the lakes and then 40 next week. We need a solid week or two of cold temps. All in all it's still starting out a thousand percent better than last year at this time.

I thought the Poo ambassadors already had a trademark on the words game changer or anything game changing. As for TS ski's I had them on my 16' 1200 used them and they work but did not order them on my 20'.
