  1. If it the MB designed chassis, they are decent. I have a Durango for wifes DD with the 3.6, 8 sp and its been pretty good. A/C condenser leaked and was replaced but other than that no issues in 128K miles. GC should be almost identical, other than a little shorter wheelbase and grill.
  2. Serious question, In order for true socialism to work in the USA, we would need pretty much the entire earth to be socialist as well, correct? Because if they were not, we could be invaded? I am assuming that we would not have a military in socialist country? Am I correct, or off base?
  3. Kind of a waste to spend that much for a turbo thats only pushing 3lbs of boost at 900 ft.....
  4. Honesty, I would worry more about the physical turbo than anything. Tuning would be next. The engine has proven to be ok. The are running fuel through the bottom end with the 2nd set of injectors. (This is a HUGE plus, btw) The cylinder design is 100 times better than the 800-700-600 design. We have a 2013 Poo 800 with BD ST turbo kit. It has the secondary injectors and is 11 psi of boost at 10k ft, with a 13.1 head. Thats just over 200hp. It has held together for 4300 hard miles. Yes, pistons get replaced as a maintenance every 2k miles, but those pistons are in better shape than the NA pistons at 2k. Its been a back sled for a few years, but it runs so well he cant let it go. I really think the design is there, now we will see how well Polaris executed that design.
  5. Well maybe diesel prices will go down if nobody can drive them......lol
  6. 2500 miles on a poo 800? Time to take the cylinder off. I would bet $$$ that the piston to wall clearance is too much. Piston is rattling around.

    Nice!

Spotted Cow is even better in bottles than cans! Ive had alot of different beers, and I have to say Cow is the best. Disclaimer, I hate hoppy IPA shit beer.
  9. I bet that will be a solid 195 hp after break in. As long as it doesn't have a bikeman can on it....
  10. My riding bud ordered one. I think MSRP was just under $21. I dont remember what options he got but it wasn't much. Didnt get colored rails, etc. He already bought a bunch of different shit for it. I think he paid $19, and with taxes and all that shit it ended up being right at $21.
  11. A few years back we lost a wheel in South Dakota or Wyoming somewhere. Didnt notice it until we stopped for breakfast. Found a trailer store in Billings Montana and fixed er up. Its my buds trailer and he is very meticulous, the wheel bearing was lubed properly. The following year same damn thing happened, same side same axle. Did some looking and measuring and found out the axle was bent. Replaced the entire axle and haven't had an issue since. Dexter axles, but to be fair, he loaned it out to someone moving and they may have overloaded it. The trailer does have a shit ton of miles on it. I would estimate over 100,000 miles. It goes all over the Rockies from Wisconsin at least 3 times a winter, sometimes 5 times a winter, for the last 12 years.
  12. Unless you are willing to replace pistons as maintenance around 2,000 miles, no. The 09 and 2010 800 are the worst of the worst. Its just a bad engine. Im not a Polaris hater, I own 3 Polaris 800's. And Im replacing pistons on my Axys right now, with 2,000 miles on it. The engine was not in immediate danger, but the piston to cylinder wall clearance was getting pretty excessive. Even so, one cylinder only had 2% leak down, the other at 4%. And this is a 2018, probably the best 800 they've built. Polaris has done a good job at making bandaids on the newer 800's, but its a bad design and 09-10 didnt have any bandaids.
  13. Sometimes you gotta give it a little help...
  14. Thats me. Its over 10k ft. Always run belt a little snug.
  15. I parked my wifes Jeep Wrangler in one of those spots once. Fucking thing gets no better than 20mpg, but hey, its got that E-torque electric motor. So technically, its a fuckin hybrid!
  16. Days like this you stay fairly close to the trails. Easy to get lost.
  17. Looks like it’s possible, but getting them back in might be challenging. Probably have to install with a magnet. This is my Axys Rmk with pipe and cylinder off. Have to go from very front with long extension and swivel.
  18. I only trail rode for years. A friend introduced me to riding in the Rockies. I got hooked, and would much rather mountain ride now. Its a whole different style and skillset.
  19. Please reread until you get it right....
