Minnesota has two huge wind farms in the south western edge of the state. Problem is transmission lines to move that electricity is 10+ years behind. They have more generation than they can handle, but can’t move it anywhere. https://kstp.com/5-investigates/minnesota-has-17-years-to-reach-100-renewable-energy-experts-say-were-already-behind-schedule/

@800renegaderiderThis is about 115k on one side of my license plate. You can see three places the gutter guard is cracked or missing. Not sure if what hit it would have taken out the condenser, but mine is still original. I know other owners who have had theirs taken out without this additional screen.

Not sure, maybe that’s why it took two years to get a shovel in the ground.

Gutter guard inside the grill works wonders.

I’ve given up skiing and I couldn’t stand still on a board on a slope. My kid I used to have on the other hand… Welch from the garage. -

I really didn't do anything more than you listed... I guess I push myself at times. Plus I am kinda the opposite as most people. The heat of the summers drive me nuts.... anything over 75 degrees and I'm done. -
That's the one I posted the link for 2 posts above... Looks like all Xcel Energy property.

Staying home and enjoying the lack of people - where I live it seems like 75% leave town on Holiday weekends. I intentionally stay home on Memorial, 4 of July, and Labor Day weekends, its the best!!

Lost 25 pounds snowmobiling this year, and my back hasn't acted up in almost a year now. I'm sure I've put 5+ of that back on... -
Yeah - not sure where its from, but been really good.

I'm not arguing with you on the points, but they vote D here in MN. Just saying.

Washed the car, sprayed some weeds, put the chaincase side of the sled back together… And got some flowers for the little woman!

So do you have to apply to fly one? What is a DJI drone? I guess a better question is what are you using?
-
What rules are there for flying them? My son works at a survey place where they use drones a lot, and he said the FAA owns the air space 3' above the ground...

Derail #2: I was going to ask if you were staying with that god awful huge sway bar? I still have the smaller one from my '18 XCR sitting in my pile of parts, mount bushings and all. -

Minnesota went all for the tax payers with that $18B surplus
Mag6240 replied to Mag6240's topic in Current Events
Yup - they spent all but $3M to give lower income some chump change, which is essentially buying their votes for the next election. AND - as you pointed out, spent another $4B+ on things that will need to be funded annually through more taxes... -
another variation of our current mental health issues?

Unfortunately at that age, they will get nothing but a slap on the wrist - worst case they make them go to a different school. It's very similar to the crime we are seeing by children, teenagers, who KNOW there are little if any consequences to their actions these days.
