  3. Gift from my old man, gonna getter nice and cold and giver a shot
  4. I made a solid offer on this, but she wants 73. https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2005-magic-scepter-8928617/ If it had a 525 EFI I'd offer closer to 70. The boat only does about 65MPH and my last boat did 71 on GPS so I'd like to not lose speed, but I love the MCOB designs.
  5. I'm hoping Cat talk more about the big bore as we are now heading into August. However I won't be disappointed....yet, if they don't. By later this year I hope we get some info on it.
  6. This country is in terrible shape, the worst in my life time by far. A liberal woke brat still rejecting the truth, posts a liberal article with another false narrative. How fucking stupid can you be? Just admit you liberal cunts have been wrong about pretty much everything.
  7. It's 100% the truth. The cities are full of woke liberal brats with no discipline or accountability. You won't get away with that shit in the Country, and they haven't. Keep your liberal whimpering, childish rioting and degenerate sexualization of children to yourselfs you sick cunts. Democrats have proven how incompetent they are and how stupid it is to run on emotions and not the truth. Your all fucking cunts that need to be spanked like children with a 2X4 until your asscheeks turn red and your crying like the woke liberal brat cunts you all are. Entitled brats = Liberals.

  9. Trump's chances of winning in 2024 keep climbing. The Sound of Freedom movie is really making the liberal party look bad and lose alot of support.
  10. Watching this liberal shit show destroy the Country and prove all conservatives right is just the most awesome thing I get to experience day after day. Some of you degenerate cunts even shot down the 'Sound of Freedom' movie, showing your true cards of how much of a child fucking piece of shit you are. At this point, if your still a liberal, your just a piece of human shit that looks in the mirror and says '" I'm content being a child fucking, child trafficking, child grooming piece of shit"
  11. That doesn't counter my point in anyway. Even if I used two much smaller companies or company building a similar quality vehicle, that analogy still applies. If a company with 1000 people sells 100 cars per year, thats the same as a company with 100 people selling one car per year. The ratio is the same, although one company is much bigger. My example was about desired market share and a company's overall portfolio. Polaris and Ski-Doo have invested into large overall sales platforms and have made much of their coin off UTV/ATV and offroad sales. Not sleds. Both had lots of emissions struggles and had they just sold sleds from 2005 - 2015 they may have went bankrupt. It's a very good thing they expanded and have had some great products, hell I owned a Sportsman at one point and now own a Can Am Defender. But that doesn't mean they make the best product out there, or that a smaller company can't do the same. There's alot of manufacters making quality ATV's and SXS's on the same level that aren't as big. Cat has always been much smaller, but their dedication to sledding has been apparent in countless new designs, breakthrough's, performance and racing wins/championships.
  12. When Yamaha partnered with Cat in 14 the ProCross was 2 years old. Polaris's chassis was 4 years old. The ProCross won the majority of flatland racing events and was a great fit for the 998. Doo and Poo's chassis I believe is too weak or narrow. Fast forward to 2023/24, the Doo chassis is 7 years old and the Polaris chassis is going on 9 years old, which is why they havent won sled of the year in over 2 years, make that 3 years when Cat wins it this year. Ford sells way more economy shitboxes then Bugatti and Mclaren sell. Its still a piece of shit. Cat have never cared about sales, even when they did have 1/3 of the market. They care about sledding. The Alpha sleds are in a class by their own and the trail sled belt drive/progressive steering makes the Polaris and Ski Doo outdated. But hey, sales numbers.
  13. Agreed. These liberal cunts need to take a break from fucking their own children and legalizing pedophelia and do something better with their time. They are so programmed by the media if you ask them 'is it okay for men to be in womans sports' they will say yes without evening thinking about it.
  14. The revised CTEC 600 II with the 800 crank (and some other updates) has held up very well in thier testing and roll out models. They really beat the crap out of it. It's high altitude mountain durability was impressive. Could use and probably handle a turbo possibly. Anyways... You can bet your white round ass thier doing the same with whatever big bore is loading for Cat.
  15. Thier 600 is rock solid. The CTEC 1 and 2 800 are Cat's first real go at the big bore segment for inhouse engines. They know whats out there. They know what the competition is bringing to the table. They are very aware. No piece of junk big bore without EXTENSIVE BRUTAL testing is going into this Catalyst. This is all of their chips on the table. I think they have a good shot of making a nice 860-920 cc big bore , N/A, Turbo or both. Everything is riding on it.
  16. In the last shootout where a 800 Cat raced another 800, they exchanged wins.
  17. Cats been making a CTEC 800 for years and the latest, most updated versions run good and keep pace with any 800.
  18. They also owned or had a major stake in Polaris many years ago as well.
  19. Here's the masters take on this, saddle up gents and get your ice cold Sam Adams Summer Ale ready, I'm about to flip some heads. And put that glass hammer pipe down packed full of that sweet purple goodness, we'll pass it around in a moment. Things couldn't be looking better for Cat right now. I say that as a fan of sledding and not a fanboy. I agree with the comments about the missed opportunities in the SxS/ATV/UTV market when Cat had the chance but I don't think they ever cared that much. But back to sleds. Polaris had a huge stop-ride recall last year that wasn't a good look. They haven't won sled of the year in 2-3 years. Ski-Doo's Mach Z weighed as much as the 998 but taps out at far less HP when modded. Their ETEC 850 isn't rock solid either, its good but not great, lots of folks hit around 4-5K miles and need to rebuilt the engine, and sometimes its more then just the top end. It's not a disaster but its got room for improvement. The G5 is front end heavy. Polaris and Ski-Doo have shown their cards with the revised (not new) Matryx/G5 platforms. I don't see any of the remaining big three releasing an 'all new' chassis anytime soon, however I could be wrong. Cat released their new chassis at the perfect time, sold out online in minutes and within a month dealers sold out of inventory they had. The buzz through the entire industry cannot be ignored or downplayed. The belt drive system on a trail sled and progressive steering system (Cat say its only on the RX-C but they should put that steering system on every model that doesn't have EPS) are more then just small tweaks. The sled looks great and is finally modern with its handling and attach system. If Cat can put on a decent GPS and really make a solid big bore Turbo, I believe they can really take back a sizable chunk of the market in the next 3-5 years. People like the new shiny thing, and while it will take Cat a few years to revise and sharpen the Catalyst they are definitely off to a good start. The GPS imho isn't the tough part, thats just a getting a solid contract with a good vendor for those systems. The chassis looks good and seems to handle fucking awesome. The real pivot is the incoming Big Bore engine, N/A, Turbo, or both. Cat's future, could very well be riding on this new powerplant.
  20. Not a surprise but still a sad one. The 998 runs 340-360HP tunes for 15000 miles and they still run good. Its a chassis industry now and they have no reason to be there, snowmobiling isn't a big money maker. The SRX 700 will always be a legend.
