I bought new mustang GT 1986, over 10 years before I lived in the bridge.

Awesome car.

Aren't you driving a minivan now?  What happened?

I had an 85 Mustang GT and for a low HP car it wasn't too bad. A little slick in rain off the line and pretty sqqirrely first 3 years when you got on it when it was dry.

305 HO 190hp, 14.7sec 1/4 mile. Holy crap stand back.

The girls edition C5 Corvette has 345 hp. My 3.8 Buick has 205hp. The eighties was not a time for hp.

Late 80/early 90 was a good time for modding cars and lots of street racing.

Stock Grand national was not bad.

Aftermarket world for the 5.0 mustangs was crazy.

I owned a 86 hatch mustang in the 90's, really loved that car.

Would be nice to have a GN and a time machine to go back to the late 60"s early 70"s. They would laugh at a V6 till they could only see tailights

not now but I do miss them for certain things, owned 4 different ones.

SuV's and old pickup now, not sure if that was moving up or down

Regardless of age anything is a major step up from a minivan.

I had an 85 Mustang GT 5 litre 5 speed with the optional axle.  Loved that car.  My brother had an 85 IROC.  Good old days

80s North American cars are best left in the 80s.... not too many I'd want today.

Although I agree with Stonedy...... an old GNX would be cool. 

Although I'm sure  Stevie deprived many a young lady of her unmentionables in his Fiero.

I had an 1988 5.0 mustang with the trunk and a 1990 5.0 hatch back. with my 88 stang I raced a grand national off the light, I took him at the start and was thinking to myself that I was the king... I had a good start, squaked it into second gear, could not see him beside me,  then at 80 kph he passed me like I was standing still and my heart dropped.

Sounds like the driver.

Those GN were fast but never really like the look.

I was beside  GN with some old coot and a young chick in the car. He was pointing at my car and getting a chuckle telling the chick how fast his car was. Well he was a little surprised when we both jumped on it and all he saw were taillights. I guess he didn't know that some people had work done to their cars. All he had to do was listen

Nope was kickin it an old 80 F150 till 1990 .
