Yup! I had a bit of a laugh yesterday, though. Two buddies of mine, and one of them also has their wife with them, are up in the U.P. this week (got there Sunday, with the plan to stay until Thursday). They rode out of Krupp's yesterday, south towards Sidnaw and made a couple of loops between there for 150 miles yesterday. I texted them around 2PM, asking them, "Just looked at the weather up there .... are you guys really riding in 60 degree temps?" My buddy replied back, "Actually, it's 62 and yep we're 20 miles from the resort. Will end up around 150 for the day."

Sounds like they made the most of it but I'm not sure what they've got in front of them today, even if it is cooler, let alone tomorrow.

We had some really good trails Saturday in Gwinn between Friday with a late start leaving the motel @ 3:30 and Saturday ended up with 260 miles with the wife which was good. We left Sunday morning to come home and the high temp for Sunday was 52 deg. Monday was supposed to be in the high 40's before dropping down Tuesday. Thursday is 48 and Saturday supposed to be 56. If they didn't have the warm up for this weekend my have went up for a last ride.

Touch over 3700 miles this year and way better than the 812 last year. Didn't wreck nothing or have any issues so I'm good with it.

I’m done, 3900 miles and I don’t even feel like I tried that hard. He needs 270 to pass me and since I said no I get the “You are losing the title this year fucker!”

Friends are so cool… 😂

Just got back from the UP today. We rode in those temps. I don't mind doing that once and awhile. It's easy to stop and hang out. Traffic was super light. We had a few stops completely to ourselves. Hardest part were the nights that froze everything into solid ice, Cooling was tricky.

We only did a little over 400 miles and one set of carbides.

Up is still rideable. Supposed to get another big whack tomorrow

How’s it looking up there today? Could be talked into a Sunday - Tuesday final ride…

Should be good. Calling for another snow storm Sunday to Monday. Should be prime with the low traffic for a final ride. It was cold today so everything will firm up.

This is why it’s hard for me to follow the Sconnie opening rules… 4-5” of concrete snow out there and not a track!
