The last of the legendary Yamaha snowmobile will be sold to the highest bidder. Yamaha’s North American Snowmobile Team will auction the final iconic Sidewinder SRX snowmobile, number 998 of 998. Proceeds from the sale will be directed to the snowmobile community to support for years to come.

That was a R&D facility. Larry Preston tried tracking it down, they were consumer prototypes.

when my brother and I were in the HOF in St Germain a couple years ago we met one of the Kawi mechanics who was working on a Scorpion prototype that had only been seen by a few eyes for an upcoming unveil.   Super nice guy.  I asked about the Sharks, he winked and said 'I don't know what happened to them either'.
