Speaking of Jimbo, I need to remember to bring a socket, ratchet, and wrench with to the SnoDeo this year so I can put his skis on backwards when he is having breakfast.

  • I think it’s one of those deals that’s either gonna go for barely over retail or deep into the 6 figures, no in between.

I thought the kawis were built in shakopee mn and the super rare racers are were buried in the back yard of the place when they got out of the business?

That was a R&D facility. Larry Preston tried tracking it down, they were consumer prototypes.

when my brother and I were in the HOF in St Germain a couple years ago we met one of the Kawi mechanics who was working on a Scorpion prototype that had only been seen by a few eyes for an upcoming unveil.   Super nice guy.  I asked about the Sharks, he winked and said 'I don't know what happened to them either'.

there's a lot of wealthy people who buy/sell on BAT, fwiw. 😉

Yeah there's never a deal on BAT, too many eyeballs. Lazy eyeballs that have more money than they know what to do with. I think half the time it's not people looking for that specific item it's just rich guys seeing shit pop up that they have to have. BAT will always bring top dollar. Barret Jackson doesn't get near the views.

WTF. There is no money in farming. I've been hearing it for year at morning coffee from all the old farmers at the cafe!

I think that statement is a requirement for old farmers. Some young ones too.

IDK, I'm watching my ag peers in my generation blast thru money like tomorrow doesn't exist. I guess truck pulling and hauling $5 corn with $150k Peterbilts it what is turning their cranks right now.

Then again, they look down at my poor ass with our Volvo daycabs and all.

That's what I meant about the younger guys. No money in it because it's spent. Not as much here because it's not BTO area.
