So just to sum it up.

The 850 N/A Doo doesn't make SAE corrected hp ANYWHERE in the snowmobile world except on paper.

The 850 Turbo ( first release) makes SAE corrected HP from sea level to 10000ft.

End of story.

A turbo can make up for pressure but it can’t create oxygen

Why would it do that? Did the skidoo make more than its SAE certified power rating at 1200’ above sea level?

Did it make less? Or was it being fed boost via the TURBO CHARGER?

Fucking loser faggot, kill yourself.

Perhaps you should go ask your mechanic.

I’ve installed several turbo systems on sleds , I don’t need to ask anyone. You on the other hand likely aren’t capable of expounding on “put this on car ferrrderrr”

Puts a turbocharger on a vehicle, but it's not turbocharged.

Why does a normalized turbo set up make more measurable power at 8k ft than a non-turbo motor of the same configuration at the same altitude, temp, baro, yada, yada, yada?

Long term reliability, cost, and fuel economy are the advantages.

My Wifes Civic makes fairly low boost , but if I nail the gas to the floor it hits peak boost regardless of elevation.

The Skii dooshe doesnt .

Imagine bolting a turbo on your Car and not making any boost unless above sea level

That’s never been done , literally only airplanes and skidoo
