The us will probably never actually engage Russia

The US is still by far the most dominant military in the world.   Conventionally nobody even comes close.   Its the level of commitment to win and the long term goals of the mission that varies the most.  If we take the gloves off and I'm not talking nuclear we would destroy anyone in months in all out conventional warfare.

The problem becomes occupation.   In order to hold the victory you need to occupy that nation for decades and decades.   Simply not acceptable anymore.

In theory. Countries like Vietnam may beg to differ. In fact when was the last time the US dominated in a military war. Afghanistan??

Again its the level of commitment and what the mission goal after surrender would be.   If the US went at any war/conflict like we did in WW2 it wouldn't even be a contest.  We didn't even commit in Vietnam like we did in WW2.

Cut off a countries electricity for 6 months and half the population would be dead.  China likely could survive an EMP attack better than the US.

The effects of an EMP attack remains largely speculative theory. Dig into it a little and you’ll find that out. IMO it’s way over blown. China would likely fair worse due to their excessive dependence on the global network for goods and services. We have everything right here.

People felt they had something to lose in WW2 , they didnt feel that in southeast asia .

Everyone was involved in the war effort in ww2, People had to be threatened with prison for Vietnam

Yep.   All I'm saying if America and our military reacted again like we did in WW2 god help whomever we are going up against.  It most likely would take a direct military attack on our homeland to get that response.

Imagine the insurgency that the US people could put up.   Probably around half million people with the capability and equipment to shoot out to 300+ yards accurately.

Losing decisively in a war with not one US/NATO soldier on the ground or in the air? Fascinating, tell us more on the goals of arming Ukrainians to protect their country.

We don't have any fighting on the front lines, or in the air. Feel free to prove me wrong.

Also, was there something from the video you wanted to discuss?

CIA is ex military. All covert actions are CIA contractors. Gives the government deniability and zero exposure. Same reason Russia uses the Wagner Group.

CIA has been in Ukraine for decades.

Europe is now discussing sending troops to Ukraine. Now why would that be necessary? lol
