will be rooting for the wily veteran but I disdain the Strolls for some reason...   :dunno:

maybe it's because they're Canadian?   :roflcrying:

Hulkenberg is actually having a good season considering he's in a Haas, hope him and KMag have a good run

LIGHTS OUT!!!

I've never been a fan of Lance either. Probably because he wouldn't be in F1 if daddy didn't own the team.

Good to see Norris find victory lane

He excels at driving in the wet, I'll give him that.

If it would only rain during more races maybe he would have a chance, lol

Spicy Meatball GP on shortly

Will Lando challenge Max again?

Lot of big names qualified poorly, should be some good midpack battles.

Sounds like Stewart Haas Racing is done after this year. I believe that there is even talk of their NC facility being for sale.  Is F1 based out of the same shop?  Maybe it's time for Gene to get out of motorsports all together. :dunno:

Andretti is going to (should have) bought their way in like Williams.  wtf has Alfa or Sauber done in the past decade other than being European teams?  as much as I enjoy the actual racing, I'd want nothing to do with the politics of that sport.

I just looked it up and they are based out of the same facility in Kannapolis, NC.

If the NC facility is for sale does Haas move to the UK, or sell out completely?

Quote

Founded by industrialist Gene Haas, they are based in the United States on the same Kannapolis, North Carolina facility as his championship-winning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team, Stewart-Haas Racing. The Ferrari-powered team also have a UK factory in Banbury…

idk

what's funny (fishy really) is how closely related the lower tier teams are to the top tier teams.  Red Bull and RB (Alpha Tauri), Ferrari and Haas/Alfa/etc, Mercedes and Aston/Williams.  Renault/Alpine.   not allowing other competition (Caddy/Porsche) in only benefits a few... and I believe that's how they prefer it.

You nailed it...tons of money in F1...they don't want to share it.

Maybe Mikey left a sour taste in F1's mouth and they are remembering that.
