Gold Member BOHICA Posted May 16, 2017 Gold Member Share Posted May 16, 2017 In 2017 the v6 from ford just outclass GM 6.2 in certain segments stock for stock. You could not put bolt ons on gm 6.2 pickup and run with a bone stock mall crawler in any situation in 2017....... Towing, daily driving, racing, offroad. None. The only thing GM pickups excel at is hauling fat ass farmers to the cafe for morning coffee to gather up with other fat farmers and bitch about the government, the crop prices, cost of diesel, and the rain in both forms, Too much and not enough. Then off to John deere dealership, or the Case IH dealership to get a part and bitch to them about how much the part cost. Then home an hand the part off to the people that actually work on the farm for them and then go into the house to read the paper and take a nap in the recliner from their hard morning. Turbo Diesels for routinely hauling anything over 8000lbs. Gassers for hauling 6000 or less. Diesels are great in a truck or for hauling any kind of decent load. Gas for just about everything else. If given the choice which would you tow 10,000lbs with an gasser or a TD? What kind of fuel economy does she get towing 10,000lbs at hwy speeds? Diesel all the way...but she loves it...its rated for 11700lb I have zero idea what she gets for fuel economy....i drove it home from the dealer to surprise her with it and never drove it or been in it again except once to take a pick of the dash.. We drive the dually or the jetta if we go anywhere together....ford sucks!
