I drove 3k miles in an AWD coupe with much more power than GTR and I hooned it around way harder than the vette with no issue. You can buy a 5.3 from the junk yard for $600 and put $1800 worth of turbo parts on it and have 600HP all day long. Nothing beats an LS for cheap reliable HP.
