racer254 Posted August 27, 2023 Share Posted August 27, 2023 3 Liberal Dane County Supervisors resigned last week, not a big deal except they all timed it so that there is not a special election and the liberal county board chair can now appoint their replacements. So now the voters don't get to decide their representatives, but instead a representative from another district gets to choose. If the 3 representatives would have resigned before July, Dane County ordinances allows for a special election, so they just waited until they could avert that election which could have possibly changed the political affiliation of the reps.
