Of course.   If those stockpiles need replenished shouldn't the value of them given to Ukraine be based on that?

Pentagon Spokeswoman Sabrina Singh claimed that military services had counted replacement costs rather than the book value of equipment that was pulled from Pentagon stocks to be sent to Ukraine. According to Singh, there was an error of $3.6 billion in the current fiscal year and $2.6 billion in the 2022 fiscal year.

“In a significant number of cases, services used replacement costs rather than net book value, thereby overestimating the value of the equipment drawn down from US stocks and provided to Ukraine,” Singh said.

The department has also now stated that it has additional money to use to further support Ukraine, which is likely to help Congress pass an additional assistance package before the end of the fiscal year in September.

“It’s just going to go back into the pot of money that we have allocated” for the future Pentagon stock drawdowns,” said Singh

Why the fuck wouldn't you use replacement cost if it's going to be replaced?

Fucking imbeciles.

Because they want to be able to give out more $$$.  Seems to be an easy way to launder more money.

Bobby Kennedy has been talking about the assassination of JFK and the mutual dislike the CIA and pentagon had with him. He said the CIA launched the Bay of Pigs invasion without the presidents authorization. Kennedy was also against going to war in Vietnam. Doesnt really matter what the Commander in Chief thinks I guess.

The biggest money suck is how military analysts are overhyping china’s capabilities. China is a big paper tiger. The hypersonic tech is bullshit. Their nuclear capabilities is bullshit. Their stealth capabilities is also bullshit. Their economy is so much of a financial disaster that the last thing they can afford is to invade Taiwan. Cost of Ukraine is a drop in the bucket compared to money spent on the “China threat”

That’s completely disingenuous. JFK authorized operation mongoose following the failed bay of pigs operation. The remnants of that operation has kept Cuba locked into poverty and despair ever since. RFK needs to give a more accurate account of history. JFK was the architect of America’s current relationship with Cuba. Obama was the first president to try and make at least some half hearted efforts to change that path. Of course trump and Biden came in and ripped it all apart.

JFK should’ve supported the air and navel assault and been done with it. Instead his approach has tortured Cuba and the Cuban people for the better part of 60 years.
