US air strikes in Syria: Russia suspends agreement that prevents direct conflict with American forces

Recommended Posts

This was planned and more importantly, needed to happen.  Means nothing right now.  More political posturing.  I see more of it coming. Russia will start to move their anti-air into more strategic positions maybe even "mobilize" some of their forces..again, no big deal.

Here's where this turns into a real big deal...back room communications between the players start to break down.  We'll see..........

Too bad former Democratic Candidate for President Wesley Clark still isn't in the military.   He ordered NATO forces to attack Russian troops in Kosovo.

Yep and its its a no win situation.   All Muslim conflicts are no win situations as they are usually against one another.   Support one the other hates you.   On top of that the one you support will eventually radicalize and want to kill you because you don't convert.

Islam is the problem people.  Until that is recognized and Islam itself changes there is no gain in stepping in.

The following morning, Sunday 13 June, Clark arrived at Jackson's HQ at Skopje. It was pointed out to him that the Russians were isolated and could not be reinforced by air and that Russian support had been a vital part of getting a peace agreement. Antagonising them would only be counterproductive. Clark refused to accept this and continued to order the runway blocked, claiming to be supported by the UN Secretary General.[2] Jackson refused to enforce Clark's orders, reportedly telling him "I'm not going to start the Third World War for you."[5] When again directly ordered to block the runway Jackson suggested that British tanks and armoured cars would be more suitable, in the knowledge that this would almost certainly be vetoed by the British government. Clark agreed. Jackson was ready to resign rather than follow Clark's order.

''I said: 'Do you consider I have the authority to do so?' He said: 'Of course you do, you have transfer of authority'.''

But General Clark's plan was blocked by General Sir Mike Jackson, K-For's British commander.

"I'm not going to start the Third World War for you," he reportedly told General Clark during one heated exchange.

General Jackson tells the BBC: ''We were [looking at] a possibility....of confrontation with the Russian contingent which seemed to me probably not the right way to start off a relationship with Russians who were going to become part of my command.''

I tend to agree. In all likelihood if this posturing in response to the gas attack is what is required to prevent full on war in a complicated country, so be it. I can live with that.

I could agree with you a bit but that would send you disagreeing with me agreeing and finding a whole new narrative to disagree with my agreement..assuming we agree.  Tard.

:lmao:

HOWEVER....where does this leave your side and "RUSSIA!"?  Seems like your mud puddle got a little muddier after all the Dems fawned all over Trump and this attack.

Ahhhh.....you'll all figure something out...I have no doubt!  You know who is on it!

See, I can agree with you...and not get immediate disagreement with my agreement.  Those Madison Libs haven't let loose the brain worms on you yet.  Keep getting shots.

Probably all twisted up inside. She will probably take the "where was the cheering when Obama did it narrative."

He could literally bring peace to the ME, solve world hunger, close the wage gap to zero, end all bigotry, save a loved ones life, solve healthcare and she would still run a negative show completely about him.
