USA Contributing Member $poorsledder$ Posted November 3, 2022 USA Contributing Member Share Posted November 3, 2022 All the Democratic candidates who ran for president in 2020 (cbsnews.com) Who were the real choices? They fucked up bigtime, can't even replace the pres with the VP at this point as things would get worse. Can't even somehow get rid of them both and put the next person in.

Come on Mr. Liberal, we got someone that currently has mental limitations and can only read off of a teleprompter. I think his latest gaff was something about 54 states. Then we have a VP that gets flustered with any serious discussions and giggles to cover for her not being prepared for said subject matter. She was put in charge of the border crises.... all she talks about are school busses. Biden and Harris were run to get the needed votes, they were not run because they were the most qualified. That being said, who were the most qualified? who should they run in 2024? That is why Forward is approaching a “platform” differently. The rigid, top-down, one-size-fits-all platforms of the outdated political parties are drifting toward the fringes, making solutions impossible. We stand for doing, not dividing. That means rejecting the far Left and far Right and pursuing common ground. That sounds horrible if you're part of the RNC or DNC Edited November 3, 2022 by Crnr2Crnr

Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted November 3, 2022 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted November 3, 2022 Sanders and Warren. Unapologetic on where they think the country should go (socialism) and able to articulate it well enough not to look like 2 complete jackasses like the current 2 at the top of the ticket. Not saying they would have won but they are the epitome of the democratic party today.

I don't disagree but is there such a candidate that would be accepted by the far left loonies that make up so much of the party? Joe was put up for that appearance and he could be controlled. Simply look at the most popular politicians in the party right now and they are all far, far left. Centrist candidates don't have a chance.
