Any dealer that sells Cadillac is supposedly on the hook for providing charging stations for the new EV now. Is that true?

Deephaven
Should check the cost of a replacement engine that is in a car that as quick as an EV. Both are wear items. Both have similar life expectancies and both are god awful to replace.

A 5.3 isn't going to keep up with a normal EV. Go price a M5 motor or a CTS-V motor. That is more akin to the battery. Either way, EV's are still in their infancy. If the tech had just double the range they do now the adoption would be monstrous in comparison. Without range anxiety or being a motorhead there is basically no reason for an ICE ...but of course anxiety still exists and logically so. Gold Member EvilBird Posted August 26, 2022 Gold Member Share Posted August 26, 2022 This Guy supposedly called the Chevy dealer on that Volt battery and will update if its real or not dated today at Noon. https://www.autoevolution.com/news/the-curious-case-of-the-alleged-30000-chevy-volt-battery-replacement-bill-196941.html

sleepybrew
volt battery "overhaul" is 6.8 hours. they charged 1200.00 . a city dealer that would be about right
