The whole thing backfired on him. They aren’t going to pump more.

The only purpose of this episode was to show the American ppl he’s trying. It’s total bs. He’s more worried about his ratings than the American ppl. He was hoping to get his poll numbers up from this trip.. wrong.. Good he deserves it..

Sounds like Saudi is pretty much maxxed out already.......the increase will be paltry at best.

Biden lifts the restrictions here and reopens keystone and we see prices like we had during the Trump years.........yeah pipe dream for sure.

It appears they're increasing output from 11m day to 13m. That's a pretty big jump.

Yes, and doubling purchases from Russia to sell!! How awesome!!

Saudi Arabia more than doubled Russian oil imports in the second quarter, freeing up their own crude for export

Ok. I was curious. It sounds like a win for everyone except maybe Russia who’s selling oil for dimes on the dollar.

Hey at least they have no debt to worry about

The saudis, china, and india are all buying Russian oil at a 25% or more discount. Russian oil exports have dropped over 30%. Couple this with the current recession and the high probability of it deepening, and the future doesn’t look too good for Russia. The lower oil prices drop, the more Putin is going to discount. I haven’t even discussed the exodus of western oil companies and their technology leaving Russia. This is still very much the first inning of Russia fucking themselves.

There’s some truth to that. While the amount of oil on the global scene has remained pretty much the same, western oil companies are finding themselves at a greater disadvantage to national owned oil companies. The tide had shifted rapidly and private oil companies are getting squeezed hard. 65% of the world’s oil reserves are under the control of states and its increasing. Perhaps it’s time america does the same?

I’m not sure nationalizing energy is a good thing here. The country is far too polarized to have any type of coherent strategy laid out and followed for more than 2 years at a time.
