Years ago, before kids were strapped in, a neighbor's kid was dinking around and hit the shifter while mom was driving. It went nicely into reverse and the vehicle spun out into the ditch. I'm not aware that there was any damage. They drove that vehicle for years after the incident. At the time, we were surprised the transmission was that tough. The video sure is a sobering reminder about how the little things add up. It is easy to get caught up in the excitement and downplay the little parts.
