Wind Energy

Texas power grid is fine. What's a mess is the locked down format of no power sharing. Why do you insist on posting data on wind turbines that's outdated by more than 10 years? Must have an agenda.....

So you and others knew this information 10 years ago and you still rally for wind energy?   Seems like that is an agenda.

No way they pay for themselves in 7 years. 20 years min

LOL.  In one thread he is slamming texas and saying "red states sure are a bunch of weak kneed cunts"  next thread he calls them forward thinking.  It is that passive aggressive way he constantly uses to argue.

I've noticed that too lol

Payoff time of a 2.5mw turbine is 6 years 7 months. Lifespan is 25 years. Complaints are that WT are subsidized. So are NG and nuclear plants. You lose.

Well to be frank, they probably still put far less CO2 into the atmosphere over their lifetimes compared to fossil fuel generation even 10 years ago.  The thing to remember is that all energy production methods have trade offs and different impacts on our home planet - no free lunch.  Ultimately, the best thing we could do is reduce our needs for power altogether by reducing the population size.

Wasn't he just saying how Texas electric grid was a mess, now he is saying how Red State Texas has forward thinking.  The guy can't spin fast enough.

It is what makes him the spin

Are you adding  the bunker fuel for shipping in to that theory?

Also forgetting to add in all the trash most every major city burns in there NG power plants . What do you do with that stuff ?

From an FB post:

As far as the "Wind Energy" biden is pushing..... Bet you didn't know, most of the parts for a wind turbine are built in Germany, it requires 60 gallons of oil to lubricant the turbine. ( where do you think that oil leaks when a seal bust ?? On the ground)) The blades are made of a toxic fiberglass combination and are buried in landfills in Wyoming. Bet that's safe for ground water....NO IT'S NOT. The turbine has to spin continually for 7 plus years just to replace the energy it took to manufacture the turbine.....
It has to run continually for 50 years just to pay for the cost to manufacture and install the turbine....which is approximately $2 million dollars per turbine.
Let's use common sense & WISDOM of GOD. GOD WINS.

My buddy worked for Talon Energy and got me a tour of one of their windmill farms. Learned all about what you posted, it's a huge shame, at least on the wind farm side of things. Was really an eye opener.

The sham must be an American thing, because in the UK wind turbines are producing 25% of their energy.
