Yes we bring in a big hydraulic machine that has a heat plate. The ends of the pipe are preped then hydraulically moved to the 2 sided heat plate. Once hot, heat plate is removed and pipes are pushed together. They are help while the "weld" to cool and take effect. We did a 900 foot run on the other side of the job under a freeway.
