EU nations won't explore or drill in their own back yard for things like natural gas. They also won't build nukes. Instead, they buy fossil fuels from Russia, adding to Putin's coffers and giving him powerful leverage. USA imports nearly 600,000 bbl per day of Russian oil. Keystone XL would have moved more than that per day. Biden admin and liberal judges are blocking all new permits for oil and gas extraction in the USA Green energy doesn't keep the heat on in the winter. Putin controls Europe's thermostat and punishes any consumer shopping around for alternative supplies, like from the USA, with massive price hikes. We have more than enough resources here to supply all of our allies, and make some good $ in the process. We've demonstrated an ability to harvest natural gas cleanly. Now the same lefties are all like "oh, poor Ukraine! This is terrible!" Domestically, this policy helps to push energy prices higher and higher, which disproportionately effects BIPOCs (Blacks, Indigenous, people of color). I would’ve thought that the move toward green energies would reduce the demand of fossil fuels. I mean if you’re 100% green then you don’t rely on dictator oil at all. Get your battery car shit so it's competitive, get the power grid where it needs to be, get your solar, wind, whatever else you got together so it's competitive with what's out there. Until then leave oil and gas alone. You want oil and gas to go away, create alternatives that make them go away. China is demolishing America in the area of renewable energy. Currently they're at roughly 45% renewable and America is pushing 13%. That's really pathetic.
