She signed documentation to the feds claiming hardship but then when she got the new loans she would have been required to certify to the lender that there was no decline or hardship, a loan which was then most likely sold to fannie and freddie mac both government entities. Wonder if they will use that against others. issue is when the loans were taken you didn't know whether or not there was a hardship so proving criminal charges is IMO going to be tough. Taking out mortgages of almost $1M is stupid. Lying on those mortgage applications about hardships is on another level of stupidity. I got in to a deal with them prob 30 yrs ago and it was hell just dealing with them for 3 yrs getting caught up Was working for a guy who said he was paying all his guys cash .
