Smh...

Exactly, because wages need to rise across the board.

Yet you and others say they won't with a MW increase.

You mean the artsy who wrote it with zero real world experience.

I have worked in this field for 30 years, I know what can and can't be automated.

No you don't.  You sound like the rube making buggy whips in 1900, teaching his son how to make buggy whips.

"I've been making buggy whips my whole life.  Ain't no way this newfangled automobile technology is going to change anything"

:lmao:

Your life experience is blinding you to the future reality

No, no you don't.

I have a better grasp than most.  You are not going to replace people unless that automation costs less than those doing the work and it is safe.

Do you know how many AVG's in plants have killed people?  We are still a long way.

Shocking,I wonder what all the Black Smiths are going to do? Do you see a decline in the demand for horse shoes ?

Foxconn just replaced 60,000 jobs with automation.

In China.

In the most state of the art factory in China.

In the most state of the art factory in China that requires precision assembly tolerances.

So, if automation can replace those kind of jobs, every job is in danger.

Automation just replaced 60,000 slave labor jobs in China.

If automation is replacing some of the cheapest labor on the planet, what do you think it means?

So, their workforce was 1.3 million.  Now its 1.24.  Are they not looking to add many in the US?  Will those be slave?

So now you can't even have sweatshops in China, BFD.

Damn, is that all you have to know how to do in order to become an expert on automation's future disruption of the need for human labor?
