Tinker
That area is 10 cases from lockdown. Nobody has the right to risk everyone's life and efforts thru this shit. Every bystander should be fined too.

Pre-vaccine, TB killed 1 in 7 people. That would be 47 million dead in the US alone. I don't agree with lockdown now either but people will not do what it takes to slow the spread (see example above) Go to work, sanitize everything, be aware of every point of transmission and cover your mouth n nose.

Honest question Why do you want to slow the spread of a virus that has a 99.97 survival rate?

Less dead people. Kids, parents, Doctors, Nurses. Treatment and or vaccine and we move on. Countries where it blew up were/are pretty fn gruesome. The virus is proving to be more survivable now than when it started and lockdowns were put in place. That's why I don't agree with lockdowns now but people won't co-operate. The fact also remains that while all the defiance and downplaying might sound good it has our economy and country in a fucked up psotion. Jus sayin. BTW I find it hard to believe that hospitals and doctors across the country are all part of some conspiracy and are exaggerating the severity of the situation. Bottom line is until it goes away or is well under control our economies will suffer and deficit spending will continue that will take years if not a decade to recover from.

Its empty,,,,,,,,, State of Minnesota buys former produce warehouse to store bodies of COVID victims The 71,000-square-foot Bix Produce warehouse would add capacity for up to 5,100 bodies, according to the request. By Jennifer Bjorhus Star Tribune MAY 20, 2020 — 10:EMAIL Minnesota has purchased the Bix Produce Co.’s former cold storage facility in St. Paul for an emergency morgue, bracing for a peak in COVID-19 deaths that could strain morgues and funeral homes. In a deal that closed Monday, the state paid $5.5 million for the grocery distribution warehouse and land; operating costs and improvements to ready the building for its new purpose will bring the total to $6.9 million. The Federal Emergency Management Agency is expected to pick up about three-quarters of the cost. The Department of Administration’s request for the funds explained that a facility is needed “that can accommodate a surge in demand for the timely, dignified, and temporary storage of human remains.” The state has not experienced the horrific backups that have plagued hard-hit areas such as New York City, where bodies piled up at morgues and funeral homes. Responding to odor complaints, police in Brooklyn last month discovered several dozen decomposing bodies stashed inside two trucks outside one overwhelmed funeral home. Still, deaths from COVID-19 have not yet peaked in Minnesota. A rush could back up the state’s system for handling and holding human remains, emergency managers say, and the state needs to be ready. “The facility would be used if available mortuary facilities are overwhelmed and would not be limited to COVID-19 victims,” said Department of Administration Assistant Commissioner Curtis Yoakum. According to the department’s request, emergency managers have been surveying hospitals, medical examiners and funeral homes around the state and determined that half the available storage is already in use. The 71,000-square-foot Bix Produce warehouse would provide overflow room for up to 5,100 bodies.
