Catching 1,000 mph baseball

Recommended Posts

Amazing how fast that thing must still have been going to get through that last glove.  You'd think after tearing through 8 gloves it would have almost slowed to the speed of a MLB fastball but nope.

Now I want to see them set up a video of what happens to a bat if it connects with that thing.

I believe he said the speed was 1100 mph. A baseball weighs 149g. That gives an energy quotient of approx 861 ft lbs. That’s wicked.
