Fuck I don't blame them...I drove to Marquette on Monday and there are ALOT of little stores, campgrounds, motels, bars, restaraunts...etc....that struggle during good years...I can't even imagine how some will survive this. I dated a girl from here and we both went to NMU and her parents had a small camp near Gwinn. Anyhow her great uncle lived in Gwinn and was a retired a CO...kind of a stern old fella but we were talking about hunting and whatnot (this was in the late 80's) and he told me that back in the day when he was on the job he knew there were certain families that poached a few deer but he also knew they did it because they needed the food so he let it go...like you say they don't like their friends and families suffering...good on them. It honestly feels like her against the citizens of Michigan. Nothing like some of the National stories I have read about her on line. My buddy runs a local mall. He is opening it back up on the 15th.
