The population density of Stockholm is not 3x Detroit if you consider that vast swaths of Detroit proper are abandoned. Use your fucking brain you dumbass

Thats fine but the only hard numbers for density of each city is pretty defined.

Show us a reliable number of the sq/mi of completely abandoned land in Detroit.

Ontario and Sweden are a good comparison.

Ontario - 13M pop, concentrated in the southern part of the province primarily. Sweden 10.5M pop

ON - 12.5K confirmed cases, 6,220 recovered, and 660 deaths, 400 of which are in long term care/nursing homes which Sweden is not counting.

SWE - 16K confirmed cases, 550 recovered, and 1940 deaths.

so 260 deaths (using same reporting methods) vs. 1940. They are doing far far worse.

Far worse for sure.

What would you estimate the immigrant population of Ontario to be. Swedens is 25% and most of Sweden's immigrants are from African and middle eastern shitholes.

Toronto (GTA) is the most ethnically diverse city in North America and accounts for over 50% of Ontario's population

I fucking live here i think I know. I work downtown and drive through it every day. People are spread out all over the place in detroit. It’s double the size of Stockholm with 400k less residents.

So you live in the burbs somewhere and work downtown which means you take the expressway and aren’t driving through any of the neighborhoods.

Right JT...it’s more than a couple articles and it’s been a well known problem for decades. BTW I lived in GP Farms which as you know borders Detroit and I worked on Zug Island and drove all over the city back in the early 90’s.

This is an imported disease. The area that has the most visitor traffic wins the contest. Michigan wins over Sweden 4:1.

Yes you’ve been reading propaganda for 20 years. Detroit suffered its worse years from 1967 to about 1990. From 1990 to today the city has made a come back. The abandoned homes Ben speaks of are being demolished. The downtown area has been been rebuilt. There are thriving areas all over the city especially downtown were you see people walking all over. 30 years ago this wasn’t the case. If you went to Sports event you left right after. Areas like Cork town have had an influx of people from suburbs. There are high rise condos being built all over.

are there bad ares yes. My brother is a cop in on of the worst. But that is no different than any inner city in America including new york and Chicago

"Especially downtown"...been like that for awhile and yeah after Comerica, Ford Field, The Casinos..etc.....of course downtown is OK because there is a vested interest to keep it that way. We used to go downtown all the time at night and it was fine because there were cops everywhere... nobody is venturing off into the neighborhoods at night or day for that matter. You don't live in Detroit and guessing your brother doesn't either.

You didn't calculate it should be over for them in months and your approach could take years

So in other words according to Moe it takes Maine as a whole to best one city in Michigan which is debatable..what does Maine offer other than Lobsters  and decrepit exploding paper mills?
