Likely 40% or more ....we won’t know until the GDP estimates are in. If GDP for the year falls more than they are guessing and the fed keeps printing with their unlimited helicopter money machine we will get damn close this year.

I believe its around $6 T.   This years GDP is likely to be down dramatically due to the virus.   Long fall in GDP and or large increase in the Fed's BS to get there this year.

Federal debt to GDP already at 113%.  I thought we were approaching the 100% mark but we have appeared to smash through that.  USA #1!!!

I’m talking feds balance sheet only

Out debt to GDP is way way way way over 113% right now

More like 165% and growing faster than we can count

It was at 107.28% before the virus hit.

It was near 100% at the end of WWII I believe and paid down bit by bit until the 1980s.

The country today lacks resolve to take on the debt. :news:

It was over 150% then and we have eclipsed that mark now

It certainly will never be paid down. Not unless you see a massive industrial style revolution occurring in the country again and politicians taking over who are willing to absorb pain to deal with it

We will be a 200% debt to GDP within 12 months. It’s over

The fed balance sheet will explode with the new loans under the CARES act.

I think the stimulus is fucking stupid.

I think the stimulus is a drop in the bucket of what the fed has been doing since October

Yeah, take as much money as you can. The big boys have been feeding at the trough and they put themselves there.

Exactly what I’ve been telling everyone. Why should we act with dignity when the richest amongst us are raping our future generations blind?

Watching on the news right now, dairy, and livestock corps want an additional $2 trillion in stimulus.
