55 known cases in the US no deaths yet........

What I find amusing is only now some are concerned about who is coming into this country and from where.

Who gives a fuck than anyone can waltz in from Mexico carrying God only know's what and have any number of infectious diseases.

Who gives a fuck that the drugs that come from there kill 50,000-100,000 American's every year.

Who gives a fuck that illegals commit upwards of 4,000 murders every year.

But hey when its the Chinese lets shutdown world travel.

Moral of the story the US should ALWAYS attempt to know everyone coming into our country at all times.....not just when a virus outbreak occurs and not just from China or people who've been to China.

Decriminalize drugs. All it does is fund a global terror network and destroys lives.

Trump could do something about that as could every other president or politician but the fact is the illegal drug trade was created by people in our govt and is sustained by the same people. there is far too much money being made off of it and that includes not only law enforcement, criminal courts but legit businesses and banks. You cant smuggle $30 billion in drrugs and cash backpacking it across the border. Maybe several million but not $30+ billion.

Not to mention a certain amount of people will do drugs weather they are legal or not. You could do away with drug laws , save billions in law enforcement and incarciration costs, and see a very minor uptick in drug use.

Bottom line is everyone knows hard drugs are dangerous, decriminalizing them isn't going to make people want to use them. And other countries have found that by decriminalizing it people are more apt to come forward and get help. Making them criminals only compounds the problem.

You can't expect common sense and drugs

apparently in this country nobody's smart enough to realize that if your doctor prescribes you a bunch of pain pills and you keep taking more and more and more all the time that it's not good for you.  Apparently we have to be told this.

Oh and it's an epidemic

Oh and pain pills lead to heroin, learned that one here

There’s too much UV and the temps are high in Mexico to worry about the cv.

Funny ya mention that. The map on tv last night showed no cases in Mexico , or they just don't know.

My point isn't about the CV coming in from Mexico.   My point is there is no concern or very little on the harmful things that do and I'm not talking just about virus' or illness.   The left now wants open borders with basically no monitoring of who comes in or out.

Yes he can....he can order the DEA dissolved and the justice dept to end all criminal prosecution

The POTUS swears to uphold the laws of the US.   Its a dangerous precedent and likely a path to impeachment even though other Presidents have done it.   The correct method is to legalize them thru congressional means as many drugs laws are federal by nature.   We shouldn't get in the habit of just saying we don't like a law so don't enforce it.   Change it.

I'd like to see the President eliminate the dept of education and leave it up to the states (among others) but its not the correct way to go about it.

I would also like to see a POTUS eliminate several depts and turn that control back over to states. Set minimum standards as law and give control back to more local jurisdictions

Couldn't agree more however is it the correct way of doing things?   Maybe a POTUS can just eliminate a dept...I can live with that....but telling LE to simply ignore laws is not right.   With the laws left on the books a prick cop can pick and choose who to charge even more than they do now.

We send $100's of billions to Washington only to be ran thru the bureaucratic washing machine who picks winners and losers and sends say 70 cents on the dollar back after their costs are taken out.   Its FUBAR.   This doesn't even touch the other issue of overlapping agencies and overreach.

Well what’s right is right and if the potus can tell the fed cops to with what states make legal then they can go the other way as well
