Campaign Financing Question...Dems

So all the Dem candidates have decided to go after Bloomberg for buying the election using his own money and bypassing “traditional” money sources. Putting policy and opinions of the candidates aside what do you prefer...a candidate that spends his own money  and doesn’t owe big donors anything if elected or the candidates that are beholden to special interests?

I think they should take ALL the money out of it. All these dumb fucking commercials that aren’t changing anybody’s mind. How fat your wallet is should not be a factor in the election.

But unfortunately it is. 93% of top spenders win.

Because the ones who benefit from it are the ones who would vote on it. Same with term limits

Yes sir.  Some people do understand this.  Makes you wonder how they get voted in to office over and over again.

I'd prefer them not beholden to anyone....big donors, small donors or party platform.   Your support should come from people agreeing with you on your values and stances.   No candidate is going to be perfect.
