every once in awhile you amaze me how you actually raise the level of stupid higher than I  ever thought possible

you are the one thinking the government added 30 cents to your litre in the past few weeks

When gasoline peeked in 2012? 1.50 almost under Harper are you saying all that was his fault

Sad part is you can't seem to grasp that a large portion of the cost at the pump is taxes which government has lots of control over. They actually tax the tax to compound it. Carbon tax definitely added to the cost. First phase of the carbon tax increased the cost $0.04 per litre Jan 1.

please point out who added 30 cents a litre in the past month or so

everyone here is smarter than you are.... the kindergarten kid across the street is smarter than you are....

nobody said government was solely responsible for the fuel increase over the past month or so but even you must realize that when taxes are based on a percentage of the base price for the fuel (HST) and that the government charges a tax on the tax whatever price increase comes from the supplier is compounded by the government.

Federal Excise Tax - $0.10 per litre

Ontario - Fuel Tax - $0.147 per litre - Carbon Tax $0.04 per litre - HST 13%

So taxes in Ontario per litre $0.287 + HST (tax on the tax only)  = $0.324 per litre

That doesn't include the 13% HST on the cost of the gas without the taxes. If the gas itself is $1 add another $0.13 per litre the government gets. Total taxes on a litre of gas.$0.454.

But you don't think government has an impact on the cost of gas.... :nuts2:

Damn you are stupid and continue as usual to deflect when your stupidity is highlighted.

You made the absolutely insane assertion that government hasn't any impact / effect on gas prices. I show you how the taxes impact gas prices and you come back with the difference between Barrie and Ontario then Ontario and Saskatchewan.

Nice try at avoiding the fact that in Ontario government accounts for approximately $0.454 of the cost of a litre of gas in Ontario at this point in time. By the way those numbers are from the government website. I really don't give a damn about Sask. I don't live there, I don't buy gas there....

Explain Ontario versus B.C. genius. Oh that's right... there are other factors in play. Metrics show that the KM pipeline would significantly reduce the prices they are paying on the west coast.

You really need help. You have a lot to learn about virtually everything.

They don't set prices - end of story

its written right above o2sled - Ontario is 27.9 cents - stop your lies this isn't REBEL HOUR

I know you don't care about Saskatchewan because you can't explain it

Sorry the pipe line will not lower prices for anyone - who the fuck are you kidding :dunno:

The Pipe line will make Canada's bottom line better, make billions for a few and that is it - cheaper gas will not be apart of this

Can't wait for you flip flop once Wynne is gone - its going to be fun

Fail... you simply can't be that stupid... oh wait yes you can. Your over active imagination suddenly comes up with the comment about government setting gas prices. NOBODY EVER SAID THEY DO. Dumb as a stump Fail stupidity at its' best. The comment was GOVERNMENT HAS AN IMPACT ON THE PRICES AT THE PUMP WHICH IS THE TAXES.

Now pay attention pot head.... clear the fog. Your own table shows MINIMUM TAX. NOW PAY CLOSE ATTENTION. That is the Federal Excise Tax, the Ontario Fuel Tax and the HST on those two. That's where the word minimum comes from dumb as a stump.

Now add to that the carbon tax which isn't included in your table and the HST on the fuel itself and it's up to the numbers I stated. You do realize the HST is variable based on the base cost of the gas before taxes right...

every province on that list has the MINIMUM so what are you comparing :dunno:

fact Ontario is among the lowest taxed gas in Canada - this isn't new

You keep blaming the government for high prices, you ignore that our gas is more expensive today than it was when oil was over 100% more.

These OIL PEOPLE play to dumb people - guess what you are   blame the liberals for everything is a win for OIL

Cheaper gas because we can export more   what a tool

Just another scenario where the experts didn't get your memo

Experts generally agree that expanding the pipeline would have some downward effect on regional gas prices.

Not only do you know much more than the financial experts who are seeing foreign investment in Canada significantly down, you now also know much more than the experts in the oil and gas industry.

We'll just add this to the growing list of disciplines that you are better qualified in than the actual experts in those fields.

Can we say this any clearer for a mental midget like you... doubt it. :dunno: Even little kids can grasp the difference. :clueless:The point was your stupid assertion that government hasn't any impact or effect on the prices we pay at the pump. Which even you have proven they do. It's called taxes. Now :clueless:Fail, you have been proven :wrong: You try and deflect to comparing the taxes of one province to another.

Bottom line that even the simplest mental midget can understand is that a reduction in taxes results in a reduction of cost at the pump.

You also conveniently ignore the increased operating costs for the refineries which include labour costs. delivery costs and so much more to the pre tax price.

There's an old saying that you couldn't grasp the concept of if your life depended on it. Look after the nickels and dimes and the dollars take care of themselves.

I found a picture of you

Capture1.JPG.20c398ef81689255a06b5eb281e89880.JPG

There used to be a commercial on TV. The guy is going through the hall announcing "we saved a nickel, we saved a nickel" Manager steps out of the office and says, "hmmm, a million transactions a day. That's $50,000.00 a day, That's over $18M a year.

It's called stop the arrogant disrespect for the taxpayer and stop pissing away money like it's irrelevant.

So you can keep deflecting all you want but you admit that there are substantial taxes on gas that are imposed by government that they have total control over which was the point you originally denied when you said that government hasn't any impact on gas prices.

Keep showing how totally stupid you are and reaffirming it for everyone.

Clearly your stupidity continues and your arrogant disregard for pervasive government waste of money shows through. But what would anyone expect from a waste of government money like you other than support for that waste.

Give it up Fail. You aren't an expert in electricity generation, economics or anything financial, engineering, the medical system or anything else even though you daily profess to no more on all of those subjects than the actual subject matter experts that actually are at the top of their respective fields.

Poking holes in your imaginary delusions and deflections is just too damned easy. Even when faced with facts you refuse to accept.
