Invading these countries and wiping out the cartels in the most vicious manner possible is an option, fuck em.

Its that or cut them off completely both immigration and aid.  Status quo isn't working.   Bet a large portion of that aid ends up in the pockets of the cartels.

No, fuck cartels.

Let’s imagine for a second we wipe every cartel off the face of earth. Then we plant our big dick flag and go home. How many months until the next cartels are formed in their void? Do we stay there for 17 years+? We’ve played this game once this century and lost. There will never be a shortage of people willing to profit quick and exponentially off the production of narcotics in Central and South America. Never. We cannot, will not, win.

Knock out the drug cartels would be like taking out saddam. Something even more insidious fillls the void. There’s some crazy opiate analogs that can be brewed in American bathtubs. The issue is America’s drug hunger. The problem is addiction, not the cartels.

The problem is prohibition not the drugs or the cartels ......like coat hanger abortions and death from methyl alcohol.....prohibition of vice is fucking idiotic

I'd much prefer the legalization of all drugs and sell them cheap and let those who get addicted take care of themselves.  No govt paying paying for treatment.

We can end the war on drugs, but the cartels don't just engage in drug smuggling. They engage in extortion, kidnapping, human trafficking, animal rape and other despicable practices. We spend trillions killing Muslims why can't we kill cartels too?

Because it’s a war we can’t win. They’d keep popping up. Like terrorists. We shouldn’t spend trillions killing Muslims or cartels.
