i don’t think they are any better than last year....well slightly......second round, maybe.  They will make the playoffs again...but they are not a Cup team....as all the stupid TO fans think they are.....opinions.

you bet. playing the yanks now is like it was the russkies years ago. those bloody americans have got very good in the last 10-15 years. look forward to the game. our lads should win

Canada isn't looking good at all but USA is scoring on the on scoreable team

Is Canada shorthanded :dunno: like all game :dunno:

after laying down beatings it is looking like they might have taken this too lightly

Just getting walked on

blew their load

USA played good and goalie was great

I think the Russia game was Canada’s kiss of death.  Either way USA has a good team and we lost again.

Old Man Joe out for 4 weeks with rib injury

Mathews to miss next game

  • 2 weeks later...

Watching McDavid is like watching believe it of not

he makes it look so easy

Leafs looking good

  • 3 months later...

Keefe was out-coached.

Taveres goes down and game plan gone.

Why was all the new toughness sitting on the bench for the last 4 minutes while the kids went around the outside looking for the pretty pass.

No one in front of next makes it easy to play the box.

Watching some of the other series, the leafs are going to have a hard time if they can even get past 1st round again

Happy to see Winnipeg shutting down the Oilers. They have got to go thru more pain, to finally learn that to win in the playoffs, you need to play a complete team game. A couple of stars, that can be shut down, isn,t going to get you there.

That is their biggest problem, they have no depth.

Look at the Av's last night, no points from McKinnon nor Makar, to name a couple, and they still won 5-2.

I think, barring major injuries, the Av's are going to do it this year, but lots of hockey to play yet.

We might not see 91 for months - damn

He has been good for the leafs - way better leader than Dion or really almost any Captain in the nhl

At what point do the Leafs realize passing the puck playing keep away with 5 guys around the Montreal penalty killing box will not score goals.

2 power plays 45 passes.  Almost no shots from the big power play crew.

Last game Sandin scores on a point shot with man in front.

Hmmmm I wonder what works?

Park a big tough body in front of Price and make the deference cover him. Opens up ice.

Frustrating to watch, but saying that I thought Montreal put up a good defense.  They seemed to be in position to block the shoot.  Last thing you want to a block shot break away.

Leafs played okay tonight, good enough for a win.

Amazing to see the Jets put the Oilers away in 4 strait. Connor and Leon are going to be pouting all summer. Gotta give Winnipeg a lot of credit, for turning their season around. Paul Maurice is a great coach.

Pretty solid night for the Leafs solid goaltending too

The Great One leaves Oilers, McDavid must be pissed he needs better players.

Reminds me of what Sundin did in Toronto

Poor Start

Scoring machine has to start moving the puck
